LPPO owner-members are also members of the Lake Purgatory Drive Road Association (LPDRA).
This association controls the first portion of Lake Purgatory Drive which is a little more than one mile, from US 550 to the entrance of Lake Purgatory Unit I Subdivision.
Lake Purgatory Unit I Subdivision is governed by The LPPO Association.
LPDRA has a separate Board of Directors who are responsible for the road and the right of way for that stretch of Lake Purgatory Drive often referred to as the "First Mile." (The side roads are not part of Lake Purgatory Drive). Because LPPO owners use this road to access our properties, we pay part of the fees for maintenance and LPDRA's administration. The amount is calculated by a formula referenced in the LPDRA By-Laws called "Exhibit A". It also calculates the percentage shared for snow removal for the first mile of road.
The LPDRA Board currently consists of four owners from LPPO and two from LPDRA. Depending on some factors in the exhibit, the number could change to three from each subdivision at some time in the future.
The Board of Directors is elected for two year terms. If you need to contact any of them, the officers for the fiscal years from 2024 through 2026 are listed below with the association from which they were elected.
There are no covenants that govern LPDRA as it is just road association, but there are LPDRA Bylaws.
